Project Management

BLACK MEN FEED D.C.

  • In the Washington Metropolitan area, homelessness disproportionately affected Black men, yet there was little mobilization from city officials or community organizations to address the crisis. Black men were the most impacted but lacked opportunities to lead in solving the issue.

  • We led the development of Black Men Feed DC (BMFDC), an initiative that empowered Black men to address the homelessness crisis head-on. We coordinated efforts to provide meals and essential resources to unhoused individuals while hosting workshops that tackled systemic issues like racism, mental health, and incarceration. By building partnerships with over 10 local and national advocacy organizations and engaging colleges and universities, we created a scalable model for mobilization and advocacy.

  • BMFDC fed over 2,500 unhoused individuals in the Washington Metro area and expanded nationwide to serve 3,000 people. Through strategic partnerships with 10+ organizations and active involvement from local colleges, BMFDC became a model for mobilization and empowerment, proving the transformative impact of Black men leading for Black men.

Carbon Capture & Sustainability Campaign

Strategic Communications
  • The Houston CCS Alliance campaign aimed to build public trust and awareness around carbon capture and storage (CCS) solutions, a vital step toward advancing clean energy initiatives in Texas. Leveraging the expertise of our team members, we supported the Alliance—a coalition of 13 global energy companies—in connecting with local community leaders, policymakers, and residents impacted by environmental policies.

  • Our strategy blended digital outreach with community engagement. Through platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook, alongside educational blog posts, we informed and activated stakeholders, partnering with local organizations and working with media outlets, to amplify the message to reach policymakers, industry leaders, and community members. Additionally, in-person events like forums and stakeholder gatherings facilitated meaningful dialogue and built trust among participants.

  • Through targeted digital and media campaigns, we reached over 4 million Texans, secured the backing of 200+ community leaders, and earned 100+ media placements in both local and national outlets, driving measurable impact and amplifying our client’s mission.
